Is including an appeal accepted screenshot okay

I have a nomination that was denied by the community, and I understand the reason as sometimes its hard to see past the intended purpose to what it is. I figured I’d have to appeal to get an approval. I have similiar nomination in another area and was wondering if adding the approved appeal screenshot would be considered influencing reviewers?

I would not consider an approved appeal of another nomination a reason to accept a different nomination. I would recommend putting a similar argument you used to convince the appeals team to accept in your supporting statement for the new one. An appeal does not set precedent.

The appeal text read pretty much the same way as the supporting text.

Add to edit supporting text and appeal text

Supporting text: This area is a popular place for employees to congregate and socialize during rest periods. The “road” viewed from satellite is as wide as a typical 4 lane road to allow pedestrians safe access to both sides. This is located on an Army installation and is available to all employees. The main gate is open 24/7 except during emergencies.

Appeal text:This area is utilized by many employees through out the day to gather and socialize during work. It is available to all employees

Then you may just have to appeal. I have the same issue when I submit exercise businesses. I know that no matter how I explain that an exercise business is a great place for exercise, it will usually be rejected in community review, and accepted on appeal. It is just too easy to check “Generic business” in the review flow. But sometimes I get a nice surprise =)

I never reject gyms because they are a great place to exercise and as such meet that criteria.

These fitness businesses are ususally chains that Cyndie is referring to, and so many see as generic businesses. Your nomination sounds like it’s at a place the provides emergency services or is in an area that only Army personal are allowed, so I have my hesitations about approving it. This is the part of the supporting info that makes me hesitate:

Are you willing to share screenshots of your nomination?

BTW, we do have clarification on military bases here: Military Bases
