Is it okay for this church to remain poi?

  • The blue circle is poi, which is the current church. There is no sidewalk in front of the church, and you have to cross from the sidewalk across. The red circle has an adult game room (poker, hold). It is dangerous for children to run around, but it exists because it is a religious facility. When the worship service begins, a lot of cars flock here, but it is very crowded because there is no parking lot, can it be maintained as poi? Or should it be deleted? If deleted without notice, the community becomes confused, so I want to check whether it is suitable as poi.

The adult gaming room isn’t the POI, so that doesn’t matter. There are many Wayspots that are appropriate but next to places that are inappropriate; I got a mural approved at a business center that is near a tattoo shop, and that’s not seen as an issue; the mural has nothing to do with the tattoo shop as well.

As for the church, one would be able to stand at the entrance, on the steps, and play without issue. A sidewalk isn’t necessarily needed for a Wayspot to have safe pedestrian access, and I don’t think any cars are driving on the steps and ramp on the side, especially since those are not a part of the street, and the street also has markings as to where cars are allowed.

You need to keep in mind that with Wayfarer, even though the games let you interact from a distance, Wayfarer expects you to interact with the POI at the exact location. If the location for the church is at the front door where the stesps/ramp are, that would be a safe place to access the POI.

Thank you for your response, I’ll tell my community that we don’t have to worry about this poi disappearing!
