Someone placed a Pokestop in a wrong location and there’s not correct public access to the place it is registered now. I tried twice to suggest the correct location, but it only moves the marker a small inch even though I moved it further in the Pokemon Go app.
I will upload the screenshot from the current submission (in voting) and the 100% correct placement.
What do I do? I’m afraid I might get a strike even though I’m trying to help.
There are restrictions on how far you can edit a location in game to help prevent any location abuse.
Log in to the Wayfarer site, go to Help, and then tap the orange chat bubble and choose Location Edits and you’ll be able to provide the details.
Do note that if it is already correctly placed, it’s unlikely to be moved, and if you’re doing a movement just to make it appear in a certain game, that may be classed as abuse.
This location edit is difficult because of the lack of up-to-date streetview or ‘satellite’ images, as this is a new development. It would help a lot if you could provide evidence of the location, such as a photosphere, geotagged photo or video. This can be provided as a link using the help chat.
