Location Edit Through Chat Support Help

Submitted for a Wayspot location for a pokestop through Pokémon go. It got approved which is awesome. The problem is, it is literally right beside my neighbors house instead of being about 200 feet away where the Pavilion area is at the beginning of a half mile trail that is used by two combined neighborhoods. I don’t want the pokestop right next to my house or my neighbors because it causes people to park in front of our houses to play. Plus I don’t want to have a violation from wayfarer. I’m not sure how it happened, I put the right coordinates in, or at least I thought I did. I submitted a help chat ticket, but haven’t gotten a response. I still have the browser open, and its been about two days. Here is the information below.

Ticket #: 42991136

Current coordinates: 36.452396, -86.635467

New coordinates: 36.45184, -86.63549

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello and welcome @ChampGST
Someone from the Wayfarer Team will have to check what is happening with this ticket.
For a location edit you suggest a location and the team decide on where it should go.
What evidence did you provide for the correct location?
The co ordinates you have provided only have 5 numbers after 36. This is not that precise and 6 are normally needed.
The area is a new build and satellite is not helpful. I can see the development is meant to have these facilities. You will need to provide geotaggged photos to help assess where it is.

You have ended up with a large discrepancy.
What method did you use to submit the wayspot: using the ingame submission or the web submit method?
The later allows up to 5 images to help assess where a submission is located.

I am having the same issue with a badly placed stop, I think the chats may be overloaded at the moment response times seem to be much longer than usual.

They finally responded to the chat session. They want geotagged photos and a 360 video, which I supplied. Hopefully they make the adjustment now. Thanks!

Hi @ChampGST ,

I see that your ticket is in process. One of our support staff should respond to the ticket shortly.

Regards,

Thanks, they asked for geotagged photos and a 360 video and I supplied that, so hopefully it gets resolved soon.
