I’m confused. Are you saying the river doesn’t show on the wayfarer map or that it doesn’t show on pokemon go?
I deleted my previous post because I’m tired and got a bit mixed up. This will be similar to that post though.
Welcome to the forum @wtfudgenewname
I’ve had a quick look at both Frinnaryd and Aneby, and it seems like the river is mapped correctly on Open Street Map, which is known to be one source that Niantic uses for the map data in Pokémon Go, so I would assume that the river should show up in game unless it is too narrow to do so (though it should still affect the kinds of spawns you get, even if it is too narrow to appear in game).
That being said, I have noticed that whilst it’s visible on satellite view, Google Maps does not have the river mapped in either Aneby or Frinnaryd. I’m unsure why this is the case, though I do note that it seems to be frozen over in places in the satellite view, so I’m wondering if this maybe affected Google’s ability to map it correctly.
Whilst Wayfarer does use Google Maps, the Wayfarer team are not in control of how Google maps the world. Therefore, if your problem is with Google Maps not showing the river, you’d need to reach out to Google to get that fixed, not here.
Hi and welcome,
As said above it’s a problem of the data sources that Niantic uses and sadly not something anyone on here will be able to help with.
On the Wayfarer forum, we’re glad to help with your wayspot nominations if needed instead. ![]()
Oh, im sorry about the counfusion! ![]()
This is the firat time to type something here.
Its in the Pokémon go game i think, because when im out exploring the river dosent show on the map at all anywhere even tho it actutally runs (i dont know the english Word for ”rinner igenom” the side of this little country side village and along the river there is and old wodden bridge remained wich was used as the only way to get to the village back in tha days so its a great landmark to visit to and learn about the history.
As i said, this is the first time for me here so please be patient with me by asking, is this the right place for me to ask to get the river on the map? I hope it could get to be a great spawn for water/beach mons too!
Thank you
