How often does the wayspot database update?
I may aswell ask this now, rather than not know.

Could you please explain what your question means? The delay between “accepted” and showing on the nomination screen?
The wayfarer database updates new pokestops and gyms on the game map once a day normally. There can be issues to delay this sync.
There is no regular sync of new powerspots. The last one we observed was May 5.
Ingress Prime is no longer connected with Wayfarer, so you will not see updates on iitc ever, if you are using that tool to look for live Wayspots.

If its been more than 48 hours and nothing show up, it probably in the same cell with another wayspot. You can check by coming on site again and attempting to submit nomination to see where is your nomination and compare them to s2 cells
But if you think you submit it in correct place and you are comfortable with sharing the coordinate that you have in submission email, someone here might be able to check with iitc, but since split with ingress, moving forward there will be some difference.
