Yes it’s there any ideas when a map will be available to help place nominations in cells. I haven’t been able to submit stops because i don’t know if theres a stop already in that cell
So, I don’t think this is a good idea, as manipulating the map just to get a game play location appear is considered abuse. If anything, we could get a map of current Wayspots in the future, as outlined in the Roadmap announcement.
Keep in mind that the S2 cells have never been officially confirmed by staff; it was figured out by users. The S2 cell overlay for the Intel map is 3rd party and user created.
Also, Ingress is no longer a part of Wayfaerer since the sale of it and other games to Scopely earlier they year. Ingress split from the Wayfarer map on May 23rd, 2025, and is working on their own system, Recon. More info can be found here:
