Massive pokestop purge in Kraków

I know the rules  and i am aware that there should be only 1 POI per cell - but half of the area around main square is empty now - even when great majority of cells had only 1 pokestop. There were few cells on Florianska street that had more - and i (and my community) have nothing against removing the extra ones.
I am also aware of the spots close to Wawel that are heavly abused - 3 of them were made by the same abusive player - and gladly one was recently removed.
I am talking about clearing area to 0, and not bringing it back, even when 90% of that area is legit.

All that area had occupied cells before, now for last over 2 weeks it is empty like that.

Hmmm. I’m not a map expert like others around here. But it looks like there are the 3 close to you and then nothing else. What is the neighborhood like where there isn’t anything on the map? Were there things like graffiti there? Or items on single family private residential property? These could be removed in addition to the inclusion rule rebalancing.

Most cells still have something:

Those 3 are still in different cells. And area that we are taking about is an old town/main square in Kraków - so basically there are ornaments, statues, uniqe restaurants, etc. everywhere

Maybe it will be more clear with those pictures. It really seems like a removal of a lot more than just problematic stops. Quite a few cells are now empty.

I tried to mark them with letter to compare with the aerial view. I hope it’s easy to understand.

Apparently some Polish players really abused the system and now Niantic is applying good old collective punishment on you and your community. As a Dutchman, I can relate. We’re still being punished with daily removals of legitimate wayspots over here because some clowns used a bot network to approve junk wayspots a few years ago.

This statement is as blatantly incorrect as it can get. Please refrain from posting misinformation.

Y’know, you could help dispel the misinformation if you actually addressed the concern raised by this thread.

Just saying “you’re wrong” to a user venting about Niantic’s poor handling of another abuse case doesn’t build any trust when the typical resync of eligible pokethings doesn’t appear to have happened based on the presented evidence.

Please provide some factual information.

Otherwise, you are manifestly a part of the problem, rather than helping with the solution.

Our work is discarded. We’re told that some of it will be restored in line with current rules. The denial of information constitutes a large part of what we regard as punishment.

Thank you for your consideration.

Then prove it’s not misinformation. Fix the issue that the OP of this topic has. Address all the countless falsely removed wayspots in my topic that I keep updating daily (and today will be a BIG update, I tell you). And stop punishing entire local communities for the actions of a few bad apples.
