Add a counter to show how many appeals you have, and, if you have used at least 1, show how many days until you get it back. Contribution Management would most likely be the best place for this, with Profile being 2nd best.

Since this is an issue currently affecting me…
Add an email preferences section to Settings, so if we accidentally unsubscribe to emails from a survey or rewards email, we can change our preferences to make sure we are getting emails for submitting, removals, etc.

I have seen some poi like this that can be in the accurate position but are in an awkward position like mentioned above…it the middle of a pond, roundabout etc. but are within range from the bank, footpath etc. Personally I don’t enter them as I expect them to get rejected but there are some really cool ones that spring to mind and would be interesting wayspots.
I would love to see the inclusion rules of Pokémon tweaked a bit, even if just +1 per cell because I have a lot of areas with multiple POI in close proximity to each other that would allow be really interesting wayspots. I don’t mind entering them for other to enjoy but it kind of feels like a lot of work for no reward when you don’t get to enjoy them in the map yourself.
I’d also love the ability to view/edit ingress spots through the other games or even like an add in because there are several around here that are duplicates, inaccurate or simply just wrong.
I have asked a friend to put in edits but they just never think of doing it. I can think of 4 off the top of my head that needs fixing or removal as they are duplicates.
I k ow it covers that but half ghe tome when i pht tjat into suporting info it feels disingenuous, as art, info signs etc dont actually encourage exploration imo, if i say “info signs encorauge exploration to find” very few people wpuld agree with that outside of a wayfarer perspective. Hence why id say cuktural would fit in better

An appeals section in the forum for appeals, partly because i do believe some appeal rejections are bad, sometimes the reasons dont nake sense but theu should be rejected, sometimes to just explain the reasoning better

Update the rejection criteria, either ours or yhe appeals, so that they are actually the same. For example, natural feature is a rejection reason for the appeals, but it isnt in the criteria and was actually allowed under a clarification at some point

A way to review your own reviews, just tk say “you disagreed woth the majority on this submission” so people can learn from their mistakes (or potentially find cheating) rather than just seeing the reviewers rating drop

Maybe clearer statement that supporting information can have url and supporting photo can have gps tagged photo. I have some of my submission rejected because i am trying to proof the exact place of where i took photo with gps tagged photo but it got rejected instead

I don’t know what this was fall under, maybe #nomination flow, but I’m going to link this thread.
If a Wayspot gets approved with an ineligible image, instead of telling us to first upload a new photo before they can remove the ineligible one, there should be some kind of place holder image they can upload to the Wayspot that encourages the community to submit a new photo. For many who don’t live anywhere near a Wayspot with an inelgiible image, this would be helpful in getting those removed and then possibly replaced by the community.
Another good suggestion, as im havj g this issue just now, since ingress and pogo have officialy split and now have their own nominations, could there be an option tk copy the submission on wayfarer in full so thag it can then be used in ingress (though i suspect that would still need ingress to have the option to do that)
I think you need to really consider what is happening here. These are now 2 completely different companies. This is like you’ve just asked Google for a way to copy something you’re adding to their map to MapQuest. Why would Google care what exists on the MapQuest map? Why would they write programming to make that process easier?
Would just be nice so i dont have to do the wxact same submission twice, jumping between wayfarer and ingress/pogo copy and pasting bits at a time as well as making sure the pin is in the exact same place
I don’t think we will get the pin in the exact same place my eyes are not up to it.
