I am going to move this to nomination support as that is the best area to respond to this.
It is likely that although it has become a wayspot it has not met the selection rules for Pokemon Go.

If you can provide the location co ordinates of your wayspot and its title we can have a look.

I have already 4 Pokestops, which were approved, but they dont show up on the map.
I have 3 more pending, all at a distance of minimum 40m apart. I will not make any more contributions to the map, so that it can be used elsewhere. This is an investment into PokemonGo and not just “A Map”. I find it really bizarre, that this System approves pokestops, which is work enough and then they don´t show up for any made up reasons.
This was not part of the upload description or anything else. Its a big disappointment. If they stay hidden, my group of players will just stop playing. Its tooo anoying. This is a place, where too few spots are available already.

This can´t be, because they are too close. Other Pokestops are so close together, its always difficult to get the right one activated. If you want to kill the game - this is the way.

This is also a frustration that the app instructions do not fully divulge how Wayfarer functions. This program functions like a pantry kitchen wherein each game team decides on which approved wayspots are used.
Please checked Eli’s link as it explains the specific inclusion algorithm that the preferred game uses. Below is an example of what is explained in the link.

Thank you for your effort. I did read the information on the link. Nevertheless, i have not found a freee accessible viewer for the cells. The approved pokestops show up on the Map as “Not in the Game”. So i figured this is the Status of - Approved but wont be loaded. So this could also mean they will appear with the next update of the Map?

Other Wayfinders are reporting no sync today so it is still a possibility for two of those you listed. This is only based on observable frequent behavior though, other restrictions may or may not apply as some map shenanigans are case-by-case.
There is one from the Wayfarer Discussion Discord. The server link gets removed in this forum so you will have to look it up elsewhere.
Thank you. Now i alslo checked the video in the other link. I can see the cells. I can see, i should have 2 gyms in my L17 already. But i dont have them. ALso the PogoMap is user data based, so i might need to go the IITC Road.. or.. i just have a great sundaay and let the gods decide.

There is now a native Wayfarer map via the website that has plugins available. The discord server would be the one I was referring to have them. Go to tools-chat

I can understand your frustration.
If you search on online for Wayfarer Tools, you should find a site of plugins developed by fellow wayfinders, and a way to get help with their use. This provides accurate data.
To be clear IITC is based on a different game, Ingress. When Scopely bought PokemonGo ingress was split from wayfarer so the information on IITC is out of date ( since June 2025) and PoGomap has inaccurate information.
I can see that in the area that @paulingzubat showed that in this sports area there are 2 distinct football fields. This could give you 2 pokestops
This explains about acceptable placement on large sports fields.
So for example here are 2 possible places to place a pin for a north and a south football field
When I can, I use photos that focus on the goal posts as otherwise it can be hard to make out that it is a football field.
Sportplatz Rautendorf Seebergen -Although it won’t be a pokestop it could be a Powerspot, and provide the chance to do Dmax and G max raids.

Actually just because it doesnt appear, doesnt means its wasted. Unused wayspot can be used as power spot or replacement if current pokestop got deleted for some reason.
Yes. Sure. But the probability for that is just too much lottery for me.
Imagine anybody would get payment like this.
“I will pay you some day. Definitively maybe. Or maybe I pay some body Else. Have not decided yet.” Would you accept that?
The game has been thriving with this system in place for 10 years now.
If you learn about s2 cells, you will know if the wayspot gonna appear or not for sure. Its definitely not lottery. And its not anywhere near your analogy. When i submit, i know if its gonne be pokestop/powerspot

I am at a point, where I might just quit the game anyway. It eats too much time.
The POI are all over several S2 Cells and have not been brought in the game.
Maybe it’s a Lack of patience and or skill.
But it’s not worth the hazzle for me. Thank you for your time.

Actually pogo is one game that doesnt take much time. I just turn on my pogo+ when i travel. Make sure i spin and catch every day. Other than that, everything else is bonus. Well thats me. Everyone have their own pace.
