I am gonna be real with you, I never thought I am getting too attached into this wonderful community, I thought I could get some pokestop nearby and maybe a pokestop at home and that’s what I need, well… I have never been more wrong and I am glad it is.
1. Wayfarer revive my friend interest to do photograph.

My best friend, who was low motivation on doing any habit, got a chance to do some photograph and taking some really damn good picture! ’

This is one of many good wayspot he took and turn into a Pokestop!

2. Wayfarer gives me a new habit, discovering and going into Route/Town I have never discovered before.

In the past, I walked only the nearby town, and played Go without any worry in the world. Nowadays?

I walk into any route, small or big, or any town, small or big, and find some hidden gems like A temple? A church? Some hidden coffee shop? Heck! Yesterday I am proud to found and edit a location named “Temple” into a full proper named and photo!
A temple that is properly named and have a photo!

Think about it, I slowly getting addicted to do edit on google map and understand why some people have passion about not just wayfarer but about google map, I fear I might be one of them now.

I think it might not exaggerated to say this is one of the best community I have ever seen. From the Wayfarer team, the ambassadors to all of Wayfarer forum regular or just sneak and peek, everyone is genuinely helpful here.

I know I am only in this forum like what, 2 months?(Still feel weird I am one of the regular now), but wow, the helpfulness of the community directly guide people into making great wayspots, growing their local community. Despite sometimes argument happened, everyone participate in good faith, which I have never seen in anywhere else.

The wayfarer team work FAST, and reasonable too. Might be comparable with Steam support on how efficient it can be. You guys are why the community putting huge trust on you guys

The ambassadors and the regulars here spend a lot of time, to help people from basic to complex question solving, and keeping the wheel of a lot of people motivation to build wayspot going. Appreciate y’all a lot.

It is still a surprise how many interaction and care people in this country about posting Pokestop. Yesterday I posted another “same title, same description, same image” and thought the post would flop, but it is still doing fine…???

Like it is unreal how this is the first post that go below 40 reaction. The rest was above 60. And every week I post the guide, there might have minimum 10 persons asking me in DM or comment about Pokestop criteria, or how Pokestop is being spawned.

I love witnessed and guide people on how to post a wayspot properly, with great description, good photo and good support statement. Everytime someone build from 0 to some pokestops being nearby, I feel happy. This is one of the example of my friend got his first gym!(There are many more but this feel bragging rather than compliment the community)
- Despite some bad apple like “Homemade gym, pokestop”, I love witnessing a lot of rural area, growing from “No way spot nearby” to a lot of great wayspot like community house, sport court, temple. It is like you are indirectly helping them building a community, silently.
TLDR: I love the community and I hope this will continue for many year to come!
