Hello, a few days ago I submitted a PokéStop in a public park. I carefully reviewed the guidelines regarding cells and followed all that information. I made sure that the approved PokéStop was not occupying a used cell, but after it was approved, it does not appear in Pokémon GO as a PokéStop nor in Ingress.
In addition, I noticed that when I created the nomination, there were already other accepted PokéStops in the area. Is this an error, or is there an additional criterion related to the cells? I couldn’t find much information about this.
Did you locate your nomination in the correct position, if not reviewers may have moved it to the correct location which positioned it in an occupied cell?
Yes, I reviewed many guides and suggestions to create a Pokéstop, and I followed all of them. In this new picture I attached, I marked my accepted Pokéstop, as well as the existing Pokéstops and Gyms that already appear in Pokémon GO. It can be clearly seen that the Pokéstop I proposed is in a free cell and that the surrounding cells are empty.
You seem to be using “Pogo Map Info” (I do too), unfortunately this depends on users to add the waypoints so unless someone as been really active in your area it is often out of date.
Ingress has split from Wayfarer as of May 23rd, due to the sale of Wayfarer to Scopely. Ingress will have a new system, called Recon, fully up eventually, but we do not know when, but a separate submission will need to be done via Ingress. More info on this can be found at the following:
Those other exclamation points in your nearby check could be wayspot imports to be used as powerspots only. They are recognizable by the placeholder photo - unless someone has added a photo. These do not have to meet criteria, and often will match a Google Maps label. This was a one time import, and would explain why you see “Wayspots used in other Niantic games” in an empty cell.
Have you been to the actual location and done another nearby check by starting a nomination on site? Your accepted nomination will be one of those exclamation points. If it was moved in voting, you will be able to see where it ended up.
My Pokéstop was accepted in the same place where I submitted it, and it didn’t move from the free cell. The strange thing is that there are three more Pokéstops stuck in that cell, and I’m not sure if there might be an invisible Pokéstop around there. If anyone could help me, the coordinates are: -11.966547, -77.053972. Thank you very much.
Sorry for the delay. A few days ago, I noticed that a PokéStop appeared, which corresponds to a proposal that had been accepted a long time ago. However, it has already been two days and the PokéStop cannot be used. I believe there might be an issue in my location.
