I have made a nomination and its in voting state but i dont have many active wayfarer users active, so should i re nominate it so that it gets picked by either the ai bot or a niantic support person so that it gets picked quickly. (I am just curious).

No one can really tell you whether to use an upgrade. If the nomination is taking too long to come to a decision for your liking, then use one. The upgrade does not make it more or less likely to be accepted just from upgrading it.

Adding photo’s isn’t abuse. But liking and adding photo’s just to manipulate which wayspot becomes a gym is abuse. Please refer to the topic @cyndiepooh mentioned at post 8, where there is a statement from staff.
