New error message?

I am a regular user of the create/upload pokestop nomination feature in the game. I live in a small city with rich New England history and the pokemon go community is regrowing in the area again. None of my settings on Google, Facebook or Pokemon Go have been messed around with on my end but today I attempted to create a new pokestop and I wa s met with an error I had never seen before.

I disconnected and reconnected Club Pokemon and I did the same with Facebook along with updating the app in the google play store. It won’t let me disconnect Google however they list my accurate email in that menu.

edit: i left my full email idk if that would dox me please be nice i just want to fix this issue

There is an ongoing bug. Signing out and back in seems to fix this.

You are getting this known issue: Wayfarer Nominations Blocked in Pokémon GO v.0.387 and it can be fixed by logging in and out (sometimes a couple times) so try that

We have taken necessary action to redact your email from visibility.

This is a public forum. I would generally recommend avoiding sharing personal contact information unless you’ve been redirected into a private DM with somebody with the “Niantic” user name.

That said, members are attentive at drawing staff attention to help remove personal information.
