Hi, sorry, but I don’t know where to ask. A new month starts tomorrow. Will new energy points be added? Or are they added periodically? We have a couple of proposals in occupied cells, hoping that one of them can be converted into an energy point.
Sorry, but we’re desperate to get some, as there aren’t many where we are. Only one in the entire town.
We have noticed that new PowerSpots have been added to the game from newly approved Wayspots on May 4 and April 4. Before that, it was November 4 when we last noticed any being added. We are hoping we will see new ones June 4, but idk.
I think the imported Wayspots for Powerspots were a one time add. Any new ones we have seen have come from newly accepted Wayspots that aren’t eligible to be a Pokestop or gym. There also seems to be a distance requirement of 22m from a Pokestop or gym for a Wayspot to become a Powerspot.
None of this is confirmed anywhere, just observations from the Wayfarer Discussion Discord.

How unfair is that system, we have proposals that go back 8 months and these have not appeared in any update, we added more recent ones, hopefully we are lucky this time 
that is why people then resort to other practices because they have nothing in a rural community.
This really isn’t a Wayfarer issue, more of a Pokemon Go issue of what they choose to add and when they choose to add it. Maybe you should let the Pogo team know the issue you are having where you are. But I do hope you see some new PowerSpots added soon.
When you refer to the PoGO team, do you mean the game’s chatbot that doesn’t solve anything? And for every open case, it closes it without resolving anything? lol
Likewise, I really appreciate your support and your response. I hope that changes soon or at least they say what is needed for a powerspot to appear on the map.
