The satellite view is not current… you can see in street view when it disappears.
Nope. Different coords, different titles, different photos.
Today was a busy day, it seems.
Got some more painted power boxes to add to the list.
And they really seemed to go all-out on the local dog parks today.
Let me explain why all these dog parks are perfectly eligible:
Dog parks encourage exercising with your dog and socializing with other dog owners. That’s two out of three of the big criteria.
“But oh, they’re all mass-produced signs!” I hear you think. That is also perfectly acceptable. Let me point you to this bit of text from the acceptance criteria:
Objects that placemark areas are encouraged. These signs all placemark unique dog parks. These should not be judged based on the signs, but what the signs represent. Since I can’t exactly go around submitting pictures of grassy fields, these signs are by far the best way to represent these dog parks in the wayspot database.
And besides, if mass-produced trail markers can be used to placemark unique stretches of trail, then these mass-produced dog park signs can be used to placemark unique dog parks.
And then there’s this scenic lookout point in a nature park.
And a small local hotspot restaurant.
Add them to the list, @NianticAaron
So are these going to be addressed at some point? It’s been a month. I’d start resubmitting them but then I’d also have to recreate all the routes attached to them, so I’d rather Niantic just puts them back.
Back from my month-long vacation and I see these still haven’t been addressed.
