No Sync for PoGo today?

Is the sync late today ?

I really donā€™t check for syncs in PoGo, so couldnā€™t tell you.

Are you looking for a certain Wayspot to be in PoGo now, or edits to be added?

Im wondering the same. I got an approval last night, but I havent seen it in game yet.

Keep in mind that it can take up to 48 hours for new Wayspots and edits to appear in the games, and this is noted in the acceptance eamils.

This seemed to happen last Monday as well with PoGo:

Nothing was said as to why there was no sync then, but there didnā€™t seem to be any issues the rest of the week. I would just check tomorrow, and if there isnā€™t a sync, might have to report this as a bug.

Itā€™s not me
Iā€™ve heard for a few days that some of my acquaintances have Wayspot that is not a duplicate cell, that is approved but doesnā€™t appear after 48 hours.

Normally, if itā€™s not a duplicate cell, itā€™s appearing in Pokemon Go within 12 to 24 hours of approval, butā€¦

The person who corresponds to the above inquired, but he received the following answer.

Thank you for applying for PocketStop! Even though itā€™s a candidate that meets the criteria of Niantic, itā€™s not necessarily an addition to all Niantic games.
If the submitted candidate is approved by the reviewer, an automatic review will be made to ensure that the candidate is suitable for each Niantic game.
Because each game has its own standards, the approved candidate for one game may be rejected for another.

Most of the reasons submitted candidates are rejected are because they are too close to the existing PocketStop or gym. If the existing PocketStop and gyms are deleted or the criteria are changed, they may appear in the PokƩmon GO later. However, the rejected candidates are not necessarily rejected solely for the above reasons, and there may be other reasons.
Discuss the selection of candidates with other players on the Wafarer community (https://community.wafarer.nianticlabs.com/)

There is also the Wild area events this weekend. They might have paused Sync until it is over. I think I remember they did the same for Go fest Global.

Where did anyone get this response? This is not any formal response from Niantic that i have ever seen.

Wayspots are not rejected for one game and accepted for another. They are either accepted or rejected. If they are accepted, then each game chooses which one to use based on their own spacing rules.

This is the answer I received via Google mail through Nianticā€™s official inquiry.

Itā€™s the same message. There seems to some issue with translation.

I heard PoGo sync happened today.

ā€œCriteria,ā€ ā€œaccepted,ā€ and ā€œrejectedā€ being used to define the sync process is a bit misleading, but they just mean whether or not it will be ingested by a particular game based on meeting proximity or other restrictions.

I guess it was synced this morning.
Approved Wayspots have appeared.
