I just got a nomination review where the submitter has added their name to the nomination photo and the support photos. I then noticed the onky poi in the immediate area to that is also by the same person and also has their name on the pois photo. I dont know how it got accepted as its very noticeable and seems to be an actual person’s name not an ign.

At a minimum this is a rejection under Accuracy → Photos → watermark
But this may be considered Abuse as well. This is clearly telling reviewers who is nominating the wayspot. I would likely tag as Abuse, but up to you.
Based on the way the thumbnail crops the photo when choosing the photo in the nomination screen, imo it is possible they had no idea their name was printed on the photo by their camera. My guess would be that ML accepted the first one. I would reject the current review for the watermark under photos as LetsRollGirl suggested, and I would report the first one to help chat as a criteria issue. That is under the “abuse” heading, but doesn’t necessarily mean Niantic will see it as abuse.
Ive recently noticed an increase in “watermarked” photos. Theres a feature that allows you to place one or put the date/time on photos you take. Ive seen Date/Time printed on photos, “Samsung Galaxy s23+”, and yeah I saw this nomination in my queue and denied it for the watermark as well as the others. Realistically they just need to make sure to crop that bottom part off but I bet you they are taking it in-app and not realizing its there.
I would do the same - they may have no idea it’s happening and it’s potentially super doxxy. It’s best to take these out of voting & help chat is the only way to let them know.
I have seen this in review once (probably the same phone model) and also wondered.
Even if assuming good faith on the behalf of the submitter, I’d count any text as a watermark and reject on that basis.

I have made a report and post on another submission and a previously approved poi by this same exact person but different pois for the exact same issue the one in game was made close to a year ago and so i wonder how many coulr be in already active with watermarks reguardless of if they know or not. Ive been seeing many like this not just by this person but ive seen many from this person in particular.
