Nomination of pokegym failed

Hi, anyone can help me to nominate or upgrade pokestop to become pokegym? My area has 5 pokestop, 2 powerspot, recently i had submitted 1 more pokestop which already approved, wonder how it work. Thanks

Please read here to know the rule for gym creation. Since u ald found pogom4p, u only nd to turn on its grid to check. Setting>visual>s2cells> pick lv14and 17

i need this too i got to level 40 with just this. its a joke, cant even get a pokestop for the walking trail around my house. I feel like if you get to level 40 should be able to get a gym somewhere close to your house or at leasta pokestop. lol

My place was like this before. So try to go out and get looking. Every certain radius, there should be local gathering place or religious place. It will be vary from place to place. Local gathering place can be easier to approve by local community compared to niantic team since local is more familiar. You will got your feeling after doing some submission.

TjoeMi has already linked the post I recommend about how Pokemon Go uses S2 cells. I know the prompt tells you that you are submitting a “Pokestop” but you are actually submitting a Wayspot to the database. The Wayspot can only become a Pokestop or gym if it is alone in a level 17 S2 cell. Gyms depend on the larger L14 cells.

I am having trouble matching your screenshot area but I think it is this general area:

There are a LOT of portals showing here already and may be even more pokestops/gyms that aren’t portals. All of these L14 cells should already have 2 gyms. To get a 3rd gym in one of the bigger grids, you would need to get to 20 pokestops/gyms. (The top left one in my screen snip should already have 3 gyms, and that is the max that can be created through Wayfarer.)

Thank you very much for your help, so the only way is to open more pokestop, no way to do any magic or edit the map right

IF wayspots are in an incorrect position in real life, you can ask Help Chat (Niantic Wayfarer) to correct the position with evidence that the move needs to be done. They will not move something for cell reasons, and asking for an edit to manipulate the game location can be considered abuse. So there is a way to move things that are clearly in a wrong position on the map. But not to make them show up in Pokemon Go.

I’m guessing based on layout that you’re in this red circle:

If you can see, there’s enough PokéStops here for there to be 2 gyms.

However, it could have fallen like I’ve highlighted in the yellow circle where the two gyms are not close by to the area you’re in, but are in the same S2 L14 cell.

I have no idea which Wayspots are PokéStops or gyms, have just marked at random for it to calculate whether there should be gyms or not.

If you want another gym, you’d need another 8 PokéStops to be added within this wider area.
