I think the catagories i had were Candy store, gift store, snack place.
Should i appeal this so humans can have a look at it or should i try to remake it.
This location is very popular, with large volumes of pedestrians going in to grab famous candies and snacks that are not sold by big chain retailers in Canada.
Any help would be appreciated.
This is a unique local store in Squamish and is close by to the skate park as well as trails. So its a popular spot for people to grab some drinks snacks or try something they saw on social media.
Since the ML model rejected it (“our team” in the email and the “Wayfarer criteria” rejection indicates that) you may want to appeal this. I do not guarantee they will accept it, but I did have them accept a European grocery on appeal. I provided a lot of evidence of the uniqueness and importance to the community.

The categories don’t matter, and don’t indicate acceptance criteria. The category list includes elementary schools and fire stations, for example. Ingress submissions don’t even have to include them.

Perhaps if i appeal it, a real human will have a look at this and see that it is a unique location. It should be a pokestop so that visitors to our tourist heavy town can see it explore this store.
They have quite the selection of international snacks. Japanese exclusive kitkats, Indian exclusive candy, US exclusive candy and drinks, European exclusive snacks. Gifts and the like.
Is it possible that the image submission is a cause for rejection? It’s difficult to take a picture of this business since people are constantly going in and out.
The image could be part of the problem. On a business, ML seems to like if I center the sign like this.
I aim high and then crop square/ish. That helps avoid people and reflections.
I was sure that it had accepted some angled like yours but now I can’t find one. So possibly framing a photo that way could help.
