So you might have to remembered me. Back after a long time. I have a picture and need help with the description etc. should I share it here? I don’t want it to happen like the last time when it got rejected by AI because of 3rd party.
It’s like a walking trail. Also most of the text and icon colors have changed from blue to red - any reason or just as an update
You can share on this site and it won’t get flagged as 3rd party - I guess because its still a niantic product
You sure? Just need confirmation because don’t want to take risk
Well NianticAaron said they would not be:
I think this is the only safe website to share your wayfarer photos on
Well if you encounter some hasty, unknowingly Reviewer reserve image in here, it is not safe to be rejected either…
Ik this is not an actual good submission but I wish to give it a try. Help me with this
You can a man visible if you look closely, will it get rejected due to body parts visible? If yes, can anyone help me out by editing it so he isn’t visible. People keep walking here to it would be hard for me to click a pic when it empty
Also the religious structure (3rd img) you are at the end is a different submission (which is already in niantic database)
Is there no seating in there at all??
Seating in this place would stand a good chance. Otherwise, it’s all too much of the same thing. It really should have seating, otherwise that is appalling urban design.
There is no seating here tbh but in the lobby inside towers (which would be a diff submission I think)
I absolutely love the patterned walkway with the curved hedges, its basically a mosaic tiled floor art and I would say you could submit it as such. I may be in a minority but I think its a very beautiful space
This picture I mean
I would see if you can find details of the designer/architect/plan for this and include it in any submission
I agree it’s a beautiful space to look at. It’s not however designed as a space to be engaged with and to linger in, but as a space to look at and walk through on the way to somewhere else. It’s a missed opportunity.
Well then how are NCN signs (like you explained me)
are something to engage? It’s just a SIGN
I am not being angry, I’m just asking
I don’t think i would be able to find that. Pretty sure that is no way that the details of this would be available on the web
It’s art! Sometimes you can just say wow, that’s gorgeous, and move on after a couple of minutes. That links to explore. Explore doesn’t need seating - social might.
I can see these mosaic paths as being something you would point out while showing someone around the area. To me that makes it worth a try.
The core criteria are that something must meet at least one of the following:
A great place to be Social
A great place to Explore
A great place to Exercise
Something that meets the Exercise element does not have to be anything that people would explore, engage with or be social at. This is why trail markers are generally eligible.
The NCN signs are marking a national network of cycle trails, with each trail having a number and a route that can be following on the ground or online. That they assist with exploring an area as not relevant - they definitely encourage exercise and their purpose is for exercise.
If NCN signs can promote exercise, so can that walking path. Let me know if you can help me with the description, title and submission type(like building, gym, park)
That’s not how it works.
Please read Trails & Markers
This location could be submitted under Exploration. It will not be accepted under Exercise or Social. Someone could attempt this and reviewers would be obliged to reject it.
Ok, thanks for explaining.
For anyone joining the conversation late. Check it (my message which this is replied it) and let me know if you can help me with the title, description, which 2 pictures to take and the submission type (should it be exploration?)
Exploration, your opening photo looks fine. Supporting photo from further away ![]()
Beautifully laid out pedestrian walkway with mosaic floor throughout, waiting to be explored in [abc] near [xyz].
Which one as the main photo? 1,2,4?
Isn’t the description too short?
And after the description they ask for the “why it should be a…” what about that?
And should I take the title as pedestrian walkway with mosaic floor?
