Nominations Accepted; 3 POI became portals in Ingress; But not in Pokemon Go

To whom so ever it may concern, I am raising issue where I submitted Wayspot nominations from Ingress as well Pokemon Go in the past few weeks. All the nominations are accepted and can be seen as portals in Ingress. But none of them became Pokestops or Gyms in Pokemon Go. I double checked whether there is any clash between S17 cells and S14 cells. But none of the submission violates the criteria. Hence look into the matter at the earliest.

Is there any support mail id where I can raise this issue regarding Pokemon Go?
I have Zero Pokestops and Gyms in the area where I am playing.

For reference, please find the attached ingress intel map links.

If it has been a lot longer than 48hrs since the nominations were approved then it is likely that the university has requested that a geoblock be put in place to prevent any wayspots there from appearing in Pokemon Go.

Welcome to the community.

When did the nominations get approved? If it got accepted after 7:30pm UK time (which is about 12am India Time), it should appear about 48 hours later. So if it got approved at 7:30pm last night (midnight India Time), give it another day or so and see if it appears.

All the POI are accepted, and portals became active in ingress more than a week ago.

How to get in contact with PoGo admin regarding this?

more than a week old.

Are there any Pokemon Go locations in this area? Ingress does not show imported Wayspots.

This is something that the Niantic Staff can only answer. Looking at the Intel Map, there are no other waypoints / Wayspots showing.

This could mean a number of things, including the campus requesting that Pokemon Go is not permitted on Campus, which would not apply to Ingress.

Only someone from Niantic can confirm if a geoblock is in place. However if one is indeed in place only specific members of the university’s administration can request its removal or modification.

@NianticAaron could you have a look?

We have restricted the addition of PokéStops and Gyms at this location at the request of the property owner.

Dear @NianticAaron this is a college area. And there is 11 players here. None of us are able to do raids or participate in any Pokemon go events… This area is also not under the K2 criteria as well. Is there any way to get the submissions to come live ingame?

It would be a great help if three gyms (one for each team ) and few pokestops are accepted.

I understand your situation, I really do. There is nothing we can do in this situation as it was a request from the property owner.

The property owner needs to write in through our help center and request for the changes to be rolled back.

@raffz9645877015 Niantic was legally obligated to do this probably by the operators of that college ground, if you contact them instead, explain the situation and ask them to send Niantic via the property request form that they are allowed to the turn the Wayspots back on, that is your only chance to get them back

@NianticAaron @kawin240 Is there a format for the form and mail id to which the letter must be mailed.

Being a college they might give us a “roll back request letter as hardcopy” but they won’t be willing to spend time going through a website to submit the request since this is a game.
