Nominations moving slower?

Just a general thing ive noticed, but it seems like nominations have slowed down again, atart of the year if i submitted something it would have been reviewed within a week (obviously emily was part of that, but even oitside of her, longest things were a week). Maybe i was spoiled, but ive got stuff sitting in voting over a month now in cardiff and outside of glasgow which used to take 2 days, sitting at 3 weeks. In all honesty, id like emily checking things again, cause a lot of the things im waiting on will be easy passes, like maps, trail markers, exercise equipment etc

No, my nominations are moving faster than they ever have, excluding ML accepts! My last nomination took 4 days from submission to accepted without an upgrade. The one before that was pulled into Niantic review and accepted the next day for a total of 2 days from submission to decision. I do have one that has not been decided yet that was submitted 13 days ago, but after a previous wait time of years for a decision without an upgrade, I am leaving it un-upgraded to see how long this one takes. For now, anyway.

It really depends on the number of reviewers in your review area, as well as how many submissions are in queue. There will always be ebbs and flows with the queues from time to time.

Keep in mind that reviewers can skip, or reviewers left review and the last one they had timed out, and that could be a reason why yours have taken longer than others in the same area. I do notice that most of my edits take longer than nominations, and I do feel that they get skipped more than nominations, as not all reviewers care about accuracy.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see them slower in the NE US. As the weather gets nicer, we’re out nominating rather than at home reviewing.

I have noticed somewhat a slowdown where I was seeing non-upgraded decisions within about 5 or so days it is now around 10-15 days in an area where I submitted multiple nominations. Upgrades seem to still be acting as normal resolving within around 3-7 days from when I submitted and I am waiting until they hit voting to upgrade.

Appeals seem to be doubled on time to resolve. I have an appeal saying Appeal Pending and has been for a week now. Used to have resolutions on appeals within around 5 days.

Everthing depends on ur area. If its slower means reviewer in your area are not reviewing as normal…or there are more submission in that area. Personally everything looks normal in my area. Anyway, if u have approval under 1 month, i would say thats great already.

If u want faster approval, get more review
