Not receiving Pokémon GO emails

So Aparentally wayfarer is going to be emailing us a monthly email with our stats and such. I have never received a Pokémon go marketing email including the new monthly email since February 2024. I have already checked my spam email several times and I have made sure the option is toggled in my Pokémon go settings. Is there anything else I can try?? I want to be able to receive these emails from wayfarer and Pokémon go. Interesting enough, I do receive the emails from wayfarer whenever I submit a wayspot and such. Can someone please look into it. I have also created a help ticket with wayfarer support as well. If you need my information please let me know.

Hi @BSidd
Welcome to the forum :hugs:
The new wayfarer email isn’t send out yet. The first will be delivered at the begin of October, so you’re not to late.
Did you check your ingame toggle like described in the announcement?

Yes I did. I know the emails haven’t been sent out yet but since I never get the marketing emails from pogo and monthly stats emails from them I just know these same emails won’t arrive to me either if it’s controlled by the same toggle which I already have checked multiple times.

Ok. Thanks for confirming.
Do you have more than one email adress?

Yeah I do

Have you ever click at the bottom of an email where it says click here to stop emails?

I don’t know how much staff here will be able to help, since these are the PoGo marketing emails they are referring to. They may have to contact PoGo support for this.

Didn’t you unsubscribe one day and get managed to subscribe again? Possibly bad memory on my side :face_with_peeking_eye:

That was to a Wayfarer email, not PoGo. I’ve never received any PoGo emails as I’ve never selected to receive them, until now, just for the Wayfarer stats email.

It may be 2 different email systems, so the PoGo marketing emails may come from a different email address than the Wayfarer ones (which they most likely do). According to Google, the most used email address for PoGo marketing emails is pokemongo@email.nianticlabs.com, which is different than the most used Wayfarer email address, notices@wayfarer.nianticlabs.com.

We have not been told as to which email address the new stats emails will be coming from, but since this deals with the PoGo marketing emails for now, I don’t see this as a Wayfarer issue, so @BSidd may have to contact PoGo support.

Hi there. I’ve contacted pogo support multiple times about this on twitter and in the game support. They always tell me to check my spam email and check to see if it’s toggled and it already is. Sometimes they tell me that they will forward this to their team to look into but then never hear back after that. So not sure if they ever actually have someone look into. Everytime I ask for any sort of update regarding it they don’t reply to my direct messages on X or just give me the same generic response to check my spam and toggle option. I’m just kind of frustrated

Also I saw it should be your Pokémon go email that it will be going to since wayfarer mentioned it will be and they said to double check the settings

Wayfarer though has nothing to do with the PoGo marketing emails, and there are still questions about the new stats email, such as the email address it will be coming from, etc. I have posted about this issue and this thread in the Recognition Email discussion thread, asking staff to clarify.

The FAQs for the new stats emails isn’t clear in regards to who is sending the emails, just that we need to have the in-game email settings turned on. This also means turning on your device’s notification settings, which is something that isn’t mentioned in the FAQs. I had mine turned off, and therefore I could not select to receive the marketing emails. Once I did turn notifications on for my device, then I was able to select the marketing emails.

The info just isn’t clear currently. Being it’s the weekend, we may have to wait to get more clarity until next week.

I have mine on too! Okay thanks for your input. This is what you mean right?

Yes, the push notifications for the app need to be turned on in order to configure the marketing emails. Emails aren’t push notifications, but it seems that it’s where PoGo decided to put the toggle for these.

Okay which pus notifications exactly?

I think he is talking about the toggle in game at Settings>Account>Other
