Noticeboards UK

Unneeded discussion .???
That’s one of the purposes of this forum :joy:

I wouldn’t put much emphasis on the where. In some places somewhere like the bus stop might be the best place - accessible, central and possibly owned by local authority.

Does size matter
And what value would there be in saying it has to be at least a set size?

The key questions are around is this a place you would go to find out local information and is it about that and not just a type of advert board.

Then as always which way does it go enough to be ok or is it totally useless so aim to reject.

I had Niantic approve a noticeboard inside a local Co-op store. I dont think the location matters - its a place to help people explore ie tell them where to go and whats going on in the area

I dont see why a bus shelter is a bad place for notices - in fact, its more likely people would read them while waiting around, so its probably quite an effective location to put up messages!

On my first look at this noticeboard i thought the posters/paper were put on the back of the sign that tells you all the information about bus times, where it’s going etc so that it doesn’t get taken down because it would’ve been unnoticed by the council meaning that they get to advertise something for longer than usual. There were more than likely people who reviewed your nomination and did it very fast without thought by just getting a glimpse of your main photo and rejecting it.

I have had a noticeboard like your one accepted before so they can definitely get accepted. To improve this nomination you could get a photo for your supporting image inside the bus shelter showing that it’s not a sign for bus details because i dought everyone checked streetview.
