Plantation Era Tabby Cabin Ruins in cul-de-sac

The info about tabby in the last paragraph should be in the description. You want people playing the game to learn what you researched when they click on the description.

Okay I’ll add that  Will having the base description too long cause something to be denied? I’ve noticed most pokestops around here only have one or two sentences in the descriptions.

No! a lot of folks here will use every character allowed for the description. You can have up to 512 if you edit it.

Naw. Just don’t make it sound like AI wrote it.

Okay awesome. Thanks Cyndie! And I’ll do my best to not sound like AI.

Thank you!

Okay I resubmitted the Pokestop with the new photos with a better angle and the updated information yesterday. It unfortunately was still auto-rejected by the AI/ML system so I’ve put in an appeal. With luck some human eyes will give it a proper 2nd chance. I’ll let you all know what happens. Thanks for all your help.

When submitting your appeal, you may want use the following link as evidence that the tabby ruins actually exist at the pinned location - My Georgia Coast | We visited the tabby ruins located on Lochland Place in Marshes of Mackay off Highway 17 in Brunswick, Georgia | Facebook. This Facebook post states “We visited the tabby ruins located on Lochland Place in Marshes of Mackay off Highway 17 in Brunswick, Georgia. The tabby ruins are located at a site ( Marshes of Mackay) that once was called Carteret Point in the 1800s. This tabby ruin was either part of Bachelors Redoubt from the 1740s during the Fort Frederica days, or this is a tabby structure from a plantation in the 1800s. There are arguments for both theories.”

Unfortunately, I was unable locate any further links to verify the information that is contained in this post.

Good luck with your appeal.

Unfortunately it’s already been rejected. It does say I can try again with a new submission so I’ll give it one more go with that link and see if that makes a difference. Thanks for the suggestion!

What photo did you use in your recent submission please.

I used a side view of the ruins so it’s not just one big chunk,

I also just resubmitted, this time adding reference links. Hopefully that will work. We’ll see.

There’s a risk there is too much nature (grass, trees) in those photos. If this is ML-rejected, I’d use a landscape photo and focus on /just/ the ruins - the aspect in the first photo is the best one.

You should crop that down to square dimensions to eliminate all that grass in the foreground.
