Please, can someone from Scopely take a look at this bug...Niantic has not resolved this issue,

Please, can someone from Scopely take a look at this bug and try to fix it? Niantic has not resolved this issue, and I reported it many months ago. I think the location is geoblocked.

In this cell, there are already more than 20 Pokéstops (actually 24), but the 3rd gym has not appeared yet. Also, the Pokéstops in the square I will show are hidden, and I don’t know why. There are empty cells in the area, but 4 Pokéstops are hidden without reason. At least 2 of them should be visible in the game, but they are bugged.

Now, the IITC mobile app is obsolete, but all the Wayspots marked in blue still exist in Pokémon GO. I even added two more Pokéstops in the level 17 cell, and the supposed gym that should be created somewhere in that cell is blocked. Currently, there are only two gyms in the area.

Can someone please review this and explain what is happening? Please be honest: if you don’t want me to have a gym in San José Square in Villa Alemana, just tell me, and I will stop submitting Pokéstops. But the way this situation is being handled feels really unfair

The images:

The pokestop “Maquinas de Ejercicio San José” is Hidden in the ITTC mobile because was inside the rango of the “Juegos de Tobogan Y Escalada” portal already in ingress, juegos de Tobogan y Escalada was a POKESTOPS in the game, but when i subbmited “Maquinas de Ejeercicio San Jose”, Juegos de tobogan y Escalada dissapeared in pokemon go, idk why, because if you see the Photos, im 99% sure Maquinas de Ejeercicio San Jose is in the Right cell, not in the same, sooo, please…

is bugged someone fix that

Just a quick clarification - IITC is not obsolete. It is still a highly effective mapping tool for those people that play Ingress. It happened to also be useful for Pokemon Go players prior to the company and game splitting off.

I found some of your previous posts on this.

Are you saying this sponsored gym is gone, but the cell was never recalculated to replace the third gym?

There is no bug to fix. The density and inclusion rules are working as designed. Thanks,

What do u mean with this? Is this mean there are geoblock in the area which remove pokestop? That would explain if the third gym doesnt appear if the pokestop doesnt reach 20

You need to manually count how many pokestop appear in map. Perhaps it doesnt reach 20 because geoblock even though iitc show more than 20.

I asked for someone of Scopely, since you didn’t’t solve it the bug of the 3° gym in the cell, thanks :+1:

There are 23 pokestops,

Hi @Molynaf
I’m not great at discussing cell things but since Aaron is so sure that everything is fine, I’ve moved your topic to General Discussion and hope we’ll find the problem.
It’s hard to look through the amount of attached screenshots so I’ll try to discuss it further by keeping it simple.
Therefore I’ve choosen the following screenshot:

Question:
Are you counting the blue dots on orange ground? (=19)

“Hidden” Pokestops are not Pokestops. If you can’t see them in game, they don’t count.

I had no idea what you meant by this, but @TjoeMi figured it out.

Niantic, including Wayfarer, were purchased by Scopely, so Aaron is staff at Scopely. Just because staff have Niantic in their names doesn’t mean they are not with Scopely, as they are. They are just with their Wayfarer team, which, again, is now owned by Scopelly.

Because of the sale, there are 2 Niantics. One is Niantic Scopely, which Wayfarer is under, and the other is Niantic Spatial, which is what Ingress is under. Niantic Scopely owns Wayfarer, PoGo, and some of the other games, while Niantic Spatial owns Ingress and Peridot. Niantic Spatial will have their own system for nominations and edits, but it’s not fully up and running (you cvan submit, but you can’t review yet).

So, the Intel map may not be the same as the Wayfarer map, since the 2 have split. Intel may have portals that are only in Ingress, and Wayfarer may not have them on its map. Intel is still a good tool for showing S2 cells, but the data may not be accurate to Wayfarer. We will be getting a Wayfarer map in the future, but only staff has full access to it currently. It’s nice of Wayfarer to allow us to still post screenshots from Intel here, but again, the info may not be accurate to what Wayfarer has.
