Please Help to understand

Also, is the artwork commissioned? Is this recognised by the local authority or commissioned by a business on their property? This may add value to the nomination.

I wouldn’t rely on the rejection reason alone as being the real reason.

Yes as I’ve told earlier in my posts above such campaigns are launched here time to time though sometimes school students make art works on different walls.

Okay. One last try. What is the building this art is on? Is it someone’s home? Is it a laundromat? Is it a toy store? Is it a doctor’s office? What is the building the art is painted on? That matters.

If you are able to back up campaign information with website sources in the supporting information, it may add weight to the nomination.

That’s a good point, I’ll keep it for future nominations. Thank you

If locals know that these campaigns are launched from time to time, then they may have thought that this art was temporary. “Other rejection criteria” is very frustrating, since we don’t know exactly what it means. It could mean that people rejected it for a lot of reasons and the system just reverted to that.

Well what if these are removed than we can simply request to remove the wayfarer spot if it was accepted but as long as painting is on the wall in good condition then it’ll should be a valid nomination. You’re right seeing “Other Rejection Criteria” is frustrated.

Especially if the rejection came quickly, it is entirely possible this was rejected by Niantic’s machine learning (ML) tool. “Wayfarer criteria” is commonly the reason given if rejected by ML.

Does the rejection email say it was rejected by “the community” or “our team”? If the latter, it was an ML rejection.

Still… assuming you get past that struggle, the advice of multiple commenters is that you specify what the building is that that this is painted on. Don’t just say, “It’s not a school or daycare.” Tell your reviewers what it is and, even better, substantiate that if you can.

I don’t believe it would have been in this situation as the rejection was based on “Other Rejection Criteria” rather than “Wayfarer Criteria”.

Ah… I stand corrected.

The Wayfarer team has not disclosed how the results of rejected reviews are presented to the submitter, though, If the reviewer answers “No” for accuracy and then selects “Enter other reason” and submits a comment, other rejection criteria and reasons for rejection will probably be displayed.

BTW, as far as cyndiepooh is concerned, I would also guess that this wall is from a nursery school. Because pretty architectural decorations are common in nursery schools and elementary schools in all countries and regions. Although the architecture can only be seen in the aerial photograph, there is some concern that it may be residential.
The key here is to reveal the architectural use of the wall by photographing it. Multiple images of the submission taken from different angles and combined into one image should be used as the supplemental image. I exemplify this with a supplementary image of my submission, the object in the upper left did not yet exist when the street view was taken, so it was photographed from three angles (south, east, and west) so that it could be compared to the view. It would be good to specify the architectural use of that wall in this way.

You have been asked multiple times what is the purpose of this building. The fact that you refuse to answer leads me to believe that you are intentionally trying to deceive us and the Wayfarer team. I will continue to believe this is ineligible until you answer that simple question.

I don’t understand the point of this reply. No one is asking where this is. We are asking what this is. I can’t tell from Maps.

The only Wayspot in the surrounding area is a swing in the park. And yet there are many mosques and I was disappointed that we did not submit them first, but I felt another major discomfort.

In this image, two children appear to be playing together. There appears to be a path that turns to the right just around the corner. However, looking at Google Maps, even if there is a mural on either the north or south wall, there is no path to turn to the right. The mural may not exist there.

I am more convinced that this is a nursery / K12 building and nothing more. It’s now down to the OP to prove otherwise.

Just above the artwork there is a sign of some sort, which may negate the idea of it being a home. However, as this is a country that I have no 1st hand knowledge of, I can’t comment for certain.

I put forward the possibility that the exterior wall of a nursery or elementary school in a completely different location could have been photographed and submitted as if it were on the wall of a private residence. The shape of the street does not match the image in the supplemental information on either the map or the aerial photo.

It’s a shame there is no Street View available.
