My nomination was rejected under ‘Other Rejection Criteria.’ Was this decision fair? If so, what were the mistakes or reasons? If it was unfair, what can I do? I’ve already used my two appeals on different nominations, so I don’t have the appeal option. When will I get more appeals? Should I appeal when I can, or should I resubmit the nomination?
No this is not a child care facility. Please read the description and additional information, you can also see in additional picture children are running in a street (street view) . This is a street wall painting. In community, such paintings are used to encourage people to send children for the education.
This is the major problem here, Maps/Satellite views are very bad. I’m also not a professional photographer. Here there are many walls paintings depicting different views in short most of them are made to make city/area more attractive by different communities/organizations/government/students etc.
How such things are supposed to put on the Google Maps or What to do??
You have 2 appeals, each on a 20 day counter before you can use them again. The “Appeal” button will appear on rejected nominations when you can use it. There is no time limit as to how long you have to appeal. Answering this piece separately.
You have not told me what this building is. It still appears to me that the rejection was correct. I would not resubmit or appeal. I will let others reply now.
Elaborate on what? This looks like something one would see decorating the side of a school for children. If you are aware something looks like it might not be eligible, but is, then you should address that in your supporting statement.
If all the artwork is just artwork, I would reword the description to not mention school, as people may make assumptions that the building is a school of some sort. The supporting information should probably clarify that this isn’t a K12 building. You could state this in an appeal if you wish.
Reviewers need to see solid evidence that your proposed Wayspot is not on the wall of a school or single-family home.
If you can prove that the address is associated with a place that is acceptable (e.g.: apartments, retail stores, town hall) it will have a good chance of being accepted on appeal or via a new submission.
If you are able to appeal it first, I would appeal it and in the Appeal Statement, clarify that this isn’t a K12 location. If you can’t appeal, I would probably resubmit but with better description and supporting info clarifying that this isn’t on a K12 building.
Alright I got it, I’ll do so. Thank you everyone for your positive feedback and helping out. As anyone can see the rejection criteria wasn’t K12/childcare.
