Please restore this removed wayspot

Hi team,

We just had a wayspot removed out of the blue yesterday, with no valid reason as to why. Details of the wayspot as follows:

  • Wayspot Title: Blue Summoner Mural
  • Location (lat/lon): -37.815312,144.952615
  • City: Melbourne
  • Country: Australia
  • Additional Information (if any):

This mural is painted on the side of a building, and it 3 storeys high and simply spectacular.

The sidewalk runs in front of the entire mural so its very accessible.

The area is not restricted access in any way, and there is no construction blocking pedestrian traffic.

Hereā€™s the details from the photo that saved to my camera roll as I was doing the contribution to the google maps pin above, you can even see the GPS location of where I was standing when I took the pic:

How else can I prove that the mural is definitely 100% there in real life as of right now? Should I get todayā€™s newspaper take a proof of life selfie with it?

Any help will be super appreciated!!

The Wayspot has not been removed. It still exists in the database.

I recognise your name as a PokĆ©mon Go trainer, so Iā€™m assuming itā€™s disappeared from PokĆ©mon Go. This may have happened if there was a location edit that moved it into a Level 17 S2 Cell that already contains a PokĆ©stop or Gym. In this case I can see it is in the same Level 17 S2 Cell as ā€œSpencer Street Electric Muralā€, ā€œLightning Powered Cogs Muralā€, ā€œA Man of Energy and Enterpriseā€, and ā€œWave Buildingā€. If you can see one of those four wayspots in PokĆ©mon Go, then that wayspot is blocking all the other wayspots in that Level 17 S2 Cell from being in PokĆ©mon Go, including the Blue Summoner, as the Cell can only contain one PokĆ©stop or one Gym.

Well poop. Thanks so much for the info. I canā€™t believe someone would randomly move it like that when it was already in the correct spot. My name was on the pokestop and now Iā€™ll never see it again :frowning:
