This is not true. Wayspots are supposed to sync to Pokémon Go every day, though Max Mondays have been noted to cause skips sometimes. Currently there’s an issue that’s preventing the daily sync happening.

Are you sure? From research Ive done on the internet saturday and sunday have always been skipped and it seems pretty consistent from what I know about my nominations, I always had to wait until monday

there have been plenty of reports of sync on saturday and sunday historically. possibly the ones you noticed were in conjunction with a large in person event. they do seem to hold off on sync when those kind of events happen.

The internet does not always tell the truth, or may use old sources.
Sync happen often enough in the weekends. I have had plenty of pokestops added to the game in the weekends. We will see when the next sync is.

I have a similar experience to AMG, some of my Pokestops have been added to the game on weekend syncs. Fingers crossed the next sync happens soon!

Another day without sync! Yesterday they said everything would be stable next time, but that’s not what happened! Has anyone from Niantic commented today?

Nope, same in Poland. From friday for sure there was no sync with new pokestops.

Sync is normally a daily occurrence.
As indicated by the post above the team are aware and it will be fixed.
In meantime we need to be patient.
