would appreciate any help/suggestions thanks

Welcome to the forums @lukeberenato

Your nomination does show as a portal in Ingress, so it’s definitely in the database. However, I haven’t set up anything to see cells, so can’t say for sure if the cell it’s in is already occupied.

This portal is not only in an L17 S2 cell by itself on iitc, it is in an L14 by itself, and that L14 is surrounded by empty L14’s. Unless someone sees something on the Wayfarer app that would explain this not showing up in Pokemon Go, I think this should be moved to Bug Reports & Technical Support

It didn’t look like any other portals were close enough to block it, but I can’t see the actual cells so couldn’t be positive

Nearly certain its the only nomination here. cant even see another poke-stop from my view.
thanks for the welcome!

As @cyndiepooh said, it does seem like this should appear in PoGo based on what shows in Ingress. Unless the area was blocked by a request from the landowner, I don’t know what else would keep your nomination from showing up

Im familiar with this location, confident no one would block it. hope its just something on the Niantic side

There’s nothing else in Henry Park with the next nearest being The Snowman and Elephant.

It would be odd if Henry Park was blocked though?

Also while I was scrolling around I found a place where visitors are always welcome that hasn’t been touched.

I won’t tell anyone if you don’t

“I found a place where visitors are always welcome that hasn’t been touched.” What do you mean? @26thDoctor
also, fairly confident henry park isn’t blocked, i live within walking distance.

The Mormons are on a vandalism spree.

Apologies. I was making fun of this

It looks like The Snowman and Elephant are in Fish Creek Nature Reserve and not Henrys Park?

Still the park is owned by St Pauls council/gov unless they have blocked every park which I doubt or there’s one really, really officious Pokémon hating government official who lives nearby it’s probably a Niantic thing?

Snowman and the Elephant were built for a boy who lost his life many years ago, Sad story. Im not sure who owns them. But I Don’t think its henry park

From what i know St. Paul is a relatively Pokemon friendly, Don’t think the city would block it.

Assuming that this issue is a Niantic thing. Any chance the stop being so far out from anything else have something to do with it?

One of the wayfarer Team might be able to check if there is an issue .

Thanks for getting back to us @NianticAaron the help is much appreciated!
Is there any way to get this gioblock lifted? if so, who would need to contact Niantic to do something about it and how? Thanks again

Usually restrictions are put in place after a request by the property owner or manager. Only they could confirm to Niantic that they have the ok to lift it again.

Niantic has been able to say who they would need a request from in the past. My guess is that this property used to be privately owned and now belongs to St Paul, per the link provided earlier: Henry Park | Saint Paul Minnesota

I know that Niantic cannot disclose who requested the block, but they could say who would need to request it being lifted, especially if the property has changed hands since the request was made.
