Hi,
Two weeks ago the POI of our local bowling alley just disappeared, November 21. The POI don’t seems to be moved or new POI are not interfering with the now missing POI. This Bowling alley was added to the map 2020-05-09 but are now suddenly gone out of nowhere.
Could there be a reason for this or is this POI falsely removed or reported by someone?
Nöjet is showing as “permanently closed” on google maps. This is the closest feature to those co-ordinates, although this appears to be a restaurant. I can’t find a way to make a bowling alley appear on google maps.
It may be necessary to provide evidence that the bowling hall exists here and is still operating. that
This is odd. Your photo isn’t from streetview, but streetview shows the following:
2019: The Vetlanda Bowling sign is visible
2022: The Vetlanda sign has gone and that entrance says Nöjet
2024: The entrance still says Nöjet and there is no Vetlanda sign
Clicking on the location marker on that page goes directly to the google maps marker for Nöjet Permanently closed.
The evidence from a google search and google maps is that the bowling alley is closed. You will need to provide evidence that it isn’t and that photo won’t be sufficient because it could be from 5 years ago.
So Nöjet and Vetlanda Bowlinghall shared the same local. The restaurant closed and now the bowling alley is cut off from Nöjet and is running their own business once again.
I just might need to wait for the Street View to be renewed I guess to have some real proof.
