We talked about appealing the Wayspot being removed on the Wayfarer Discussion Discord some, but we didn’t have the location or the title then. With this location, I was able to check iitc. There is another wayspot in either level 17 S2 cell this could have been in, so if any of these other Wayspots are Pokestops or gyms, the Wayspot would not be eligible to go live again in Pokemon Go, even if restored, fyi.

That way point got removed over the max finale weekend as it no longer in that location, here a photo of currently waypoint in that location

Thanks for providing that clarifying information about the situation with the other nearby wayspots.

Can you also clarify that it is sign saying “come play” ( which is a nice thing) that is the object and not the play equipment behind?

Was the come play sign removed, prior to the bench being removed?

The wayfarer team will review your case to see if it is a valid wayspot.

They use plants to spell come play with a hard white shell to keep the words in place, it’s been there all summer for sure

I believe it was nominated some time ago possibly over a year

It showed up in game during the max finale weekend (I believe it was the Sunday)

The bench has long been moved to a different area of the park, didn’t think about it got removed or someone did something wrong many many years ago

Took a few more photos, it looks like it made out of metal not plastic, so they likely leave it all year long and put new plants in every spring or the plants come back, I took a few more photos while out for community day
