Pokestop Appeal

When submitting a Wayspot Appeal, make sure to include as much of the following information as possible:

  • Wayspot Title: Pokestop Appeal
  • Location (lat/lon): Meadow Glen Sign
  • City: Valparaiso
  • Country: United States
  • Screenshot of the Rejection Email (do not include your personal information):
  • Additional Information (if any): How can I get this sign to be approved?

Unfortunately, this section is for appealing denied removal reports, not denied nominations.

You can appeal twice per 20 days via the contribution management page.

The community can feedback if you’d like to provide more information about your nomination to obtain feedback on it.

Mod Edit

Hello and welcome,

Yes, this forum is for appealing rejected Wayspot removal requests, or asking to restore a Wayspot that was removed but is still valid. Nomination Support is the best forum to post in if you have any questions about your nominations.

I see that the ML, the AI system, rejected the nomination, as the email comes from “our team.” If the email had said “our community,” then the reviewers would have rejected it.

We are more than happy to take a look at your nomination to see if it is eligible, and what may need to be done to improve on it. Feel free to post screenshots from Contribution Management of the nomination, including title/description/photos/location/supporting info.

However, I do wonder if it’s this sign, which does appear to be on single family private residental property, or PRP for short, and is for a housing development. Many do not accept these signs if they aren’t on PRP, as they don’t meet criteria. The second screenshot shows the sign in the location of a PRP.

I would also recommend you review the Waysot Criteria section to konw what is and isn’t eligible when submitting in the future:

I also see this sign at the west end of the housing development, and it also seems to be on PRP as well.
