It did not have to be you. It could have been an affected neighbor. But it most likely was just removed for being in an ineligible location. You cannot just give permission to have a Wayspot on your SFPRP. I will link the clarifications on this issue:

If this is in a public easement and not on your personal property and you can present evidence that this is allowed to be there, then you could make an appeal for reinstatement. Otherwise, I would not appeal or resubmit this.
