I looked on the map, and it does seem impossible for the Wayspot to be at its current location of 47.382145,8.541487 which puts it in a roadway. You can ask Help Chat to correct the location for you. Go to https://wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/new/help and a text box will pop up where you can make the request
I can’t see this at the coordinates you suggested either, so they may need location tagged photos as proof, but I am not good with maps.

Welcome to the forum! I actually had this in voting — the submitted location (47.382145, 8.541487) was at the current pin. I had to reject it for an inaccurate location because it was definitely too far misplaced. I’m actually surprised that it got accepted anyway. 
I found it on this website: Otto Heinrich Schilt, Reliefs, 1932–33 auf mural.ch — Online–Dokumentation der modernen und zeitgenössischen Wandmalerei (Pictures 1 and 2 show the submitted relief, Pictures 3 and 4 show another entrance / a different relief.)
And in this picture, the address number 31 can be seen.:
Details on the glass door (The detail “Walchestrasse 31” written on the glass helps indicate the real location).
Which corresponds to the address near your newly suggested location on the forum post (47.381647,8.541209).
Like Cyndie said above, you can use the help chat to move it to its correct location. With the surrounding Google Street View data, it’s not possible to find it right now, so a geotagged picture is what you need in that case. You can attach it in the help chat. I suggest taking several pictures of the surrounding area (with the object clearly visible in the photos).

How long dose this going to take ?
Help Chat usually resolves issues within a few days. Though the chat log does not persist for too long. And they do not send an email. You may need to just check the location in game.
