Il pokestop è stato accettato e sono passati già 5 giorni ma non lo vedo sulla mappa…. Ho tenuto conto anche delle celle s2… non capisco perchè non appare… qualcuno riesce ad aiutarmi ?
Salve, it could be that the nomination got moved during review and now doesn’t fulfill the s2 cell rules. You can find out by going to the location in question, and opening the location select screen for new nominations, to see the databse entries
Hello and Welcome,
2nd possibility is that there is a “property owner block” in the area.
If you would like to screen grab your nomination and give the GPS Co-ords (from the email received when you nominated) we could take a look.
Unfortunately, the map we used has not updated since May but it may give us some clue.
We will be unable to confirm if there is a block on the area (only staff can and they do visit the forums) but the location may suggest it’s a possibility.
Passing the location detail may also get people scouring the maps and giving suggestions to other possible nomination if you would like this?
Good luck.
Ok, taking a look at the Co-ords there are a few possibilities.
- It was accepted but someone reported it as “Single Family Private Residence Property” (SFPRP) that is not allowed in Pokemon Go.
- It was moved during review and it has dropped in to the occupied cell below (the map would state the move would be incorrect, you have placed at the front of the building instead of the side but should still be in the same cell).
- The owner of the property has requested a removal.
- Something else was excepted in the same cell before yours but since the map we used stopped updating.
As we are working blind lets hope a member of staff will see this and let us know.
Ok thank you..so i just have to wait and hope?
Unfortunately, Yes.
Are you aware if the building is a Single Family Residence?
Criteria states that this includes everything up to the boundary and including anything attached to the outside of the boundary wall.
Yes, it is, but I tried… unfortunately, I don’t have much around here that’s useful, and I’d like to create a second gym so I can do more raids… but they never accept anything from me, that’s for sure… I’m losing hope…
Unfortunately, some places just don’t have suitable locations
The Co-ords are above so lets hope some of the Map Finders will take a look and give you some suggestions.
Another possibility, as you are in Italy you might want to read https://community.wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/t/testing-new-wayspots-in-pokemon-go
These are the cell boundaries for that area. When Ingress split, there were three wayspots, so three more needed to get a second gym. Have any more wayspots been accepted since May that aren’t showing on this map?
Possibles:
Cafe Torrino, 4.7 stars, cafes eligible but hard to get accepted so need good submission : Google Maps
Noticeboard?? Google Maps
Basketball court that would need the marker at the entrance not the hoop, because of cell boundaries and because there is a (hidden) wayspot for a religious artefact where the hoop is (?!). There is something immediately to the south as well, but that is the same cell : Google Maps
Possible information boards, unless just advertisements: Google Maps
In red, the one that was just accepted… in blue, requests made 4 days ago but still unanswered. 1 is a commemorative tag (I think it’s okay). The second one is unlikely to be accepted, but I hope so.
The powerspot is not a problem. There are two types of powerspots.
Some are created from wayspots that are too close to other existing pokestops/gyms to appear in Pokemon Go as a pokestop/gym - these may become a powerspot.
The rest were created from an import and are normally not locations which are eligible to be wayspots. Lots were created on SFPRP (single-family private residential property) and lots on generic businesses. However, some were created on locations which would be eligible to be wayspots. For these, you can submit the location as a wayspot and the powerspot will not appear to reviewers.
For the basketball court, a picture taken from the entrance looking down the court to the hoops would be fine as a main photo. Supporting photo taken from maybe where this photo above is as it shows the context. Alternatively, that green park sign is perfect. No point doing both, as they are too close and in the same cell.
I’ve also just spotted another one of these at 44.990026, 7.643270 https://maps.app.goo.gl/CtkWcU7po4TuJMGV9. I’m not sure what these are and whether they are eligible:
What you show in your last picture are likely death announcements - ymmv
Huh! Thanks. I was right to put two question marks against the first one I found. Definitely socially important information, but I agree with ymmv.
I don’t think it’s suitable
That leaves the cafe, the basketball court/park sign and your two pending reviews (which no-one here can comment without knowing what they are).
On the assumption you get two rejections, it’s worth writing up something good for the cafe
