Pokéstop not appearing and help chat question

It happened to me too, it’s been a week since they accepted my request for the pokestop but for some reason is not in the map. I checked about the S2 celds and I requested the re-location for one of the pokestop but I feel like the persons looking at the requests are too slow to just move a accepted pokestop.

this doesn’t happen. there will be an issue that is preventing the pokestop from appearing. there have been cases of the daily sync not happening, but i have not seen any reports of a missed sync.

if you are certain that it is not a cell issue, then it could be that there is a block on the property from a property owner. but it usually is a cell issue.

I’m sure is a cell issue, that’s why I said that I requested the re-location of one of the pokestop, so the other one could appear leaving a space between cells

I misunderstood. Apologies. If you requested a move for an already correct Wayspot for cell reasons, this may be considered abuse. If it was a real life correction that makes both Wayspots eligible to Pokestops, that is great.

How did you make the request? Help chat normally answers by the next day? In game requests go through the same process as other submissions do.

Yeah both pokestop are too close, there some swings (first pokestop) and next to them there’s a public grills that I summited for another pokestop (is the one that doesn’t appear but is already accepted)
So basically I didn’t know about the s2 cells when I summited both pokestop until I noticed that the accepted one wasn’t on the game so I was browsing on the internet and I found the s2 cells stuff, so with that I tried to move the first pokestop (just a little) so I can leave the space for the other one without mistakes, that make sense?
And I did it through the game and also tried through the chat but I didn’t get a response :frowning:

chat always responds, but some people lose the chat history on their browsers. if you did not see the move made, then they refused the move.

for the in game request, you can see the status from your contributions page. if it is going through community review, it may take a long time.

again, even if just a little bit, if the only reason for the move is to put it in a new cell, this may be seen as abuse. i hope it is not.

On the chat they said I was going to get a response in 24hrs and nothing happened, every time I try to contact someone on the chat I get the bot with the same questions

Can you show us some screenshots of the whole nomination, and the chat conversation?

Sorry is in Spanish, I go to the chat I select the spot thingy and it ask me for the location of the pokestop and then it says that someone is going to give me an update of the situation, but nothing happens next lol, also if you see the picture, I have the swings in a green space in front of the houses and the grill area (the other pokestop that is accepted but is not in the game yet) is a few steps away from the swings and the hole playground itself

Okay, I would give them a bit more time to reply in this thread - check back on Monday since they may not be working on it over the weekend

Just to check, is the reason you asked to move this purely because you want it to appear as a pokestop?

Or is the location it was submitted in wrong?

I want it to appear as a pokestop since we have a playground and some other amenities that can be useful to pokemon go users, I went to other residences and I saw that they have like 3 poke stops in a row and I wanted to do the same :smiling_face_with_tear:

Moving a wayspot just for game purposes is considered abuse and could lead to sanctions taken on your account.

This will be in order (staff can skip steps if they find necessary)

1 day warning

30 day suspension

Termination of account.

So please don’t do this.

But then how do I fix the other pokestop that is already accepted but doesn’t appear in the game?

Hello,
I get the frustration of seeing other places in the game and wanting to have the same.
Wayfarer can help with putting things in the game.
But …..and it is an important but, you have to work within the rules of what is submittable and where it is, rather than putting something where it will fit.
This wayspot can’t be moved. I don’t know the details but there is a possibility it may be a powerspot.
You need to accept that it won’t be a pokestop and move on.
There may well be other things that will be around your area. If you want we would be willing to help you check for suitable things.

That’s okay, and I’m sorry if this thread is to long, I didn’t know that trying to move the pokestop just a little (same area in the swing place) could be an abuse. I just keep it like that.

Because wayfarer is about submitting points to a map for real items, thr points have to be accurate. That’s why its considered abuse to move them to make them appear in game because then the map wouldn’t be accurate anymore. Hopefully that makes sense
