Why wasn’t the pokestop set even though the cell appears to be free?

To better help with your post, it would be useful to know a couple of things. If you’re comfortable doing so, could you please share the name and location (ideally GPS coordinates) of your nomination? Second, has it been at least 48 hours since it was accepted?
Thanks for the reply, more than 48h have already passed since acceptance, i checked intel ingress and it is not marked. I used pogomap to make sure the cell was free. The pokestop is called “Posta di Lamone-Cadempino” and is located in Switzwerland in Lamone-Cadempino. The coordinates should be 46.039327, 8.932337
Reviewers might have moved it to the actual entrance of the post office and therefore it shares a cell and the 20 metres radius with an info sign board, it can not come online in any game
Might also be that the map you used gave you wrong info. That map is known for being inaccurate as the map and the cells are misaligned
