Pokestop not showing in map for po go after the acceptance

I have an accepted poke stop nomination since 19 July, and till now it is not showing up in the game,what should I do to report this issue

Thank you for submitting a Wayspot nomination! While some nominations may be deemed eligible by the community of reviewers on Niantic Wayfarer for inclusion into Niantic’s location database, they may not necessarily be added into every Niantic game. After a nomination is approved by reviewers, there is an additional automated review that determines whether the nomination is an appropriate fit for each particular Niantic game. Each game has their own set of criteria for this step, so some nominations may be accepted into one game but not another.

The most common reason that an eligible nomination is not added to Pokémon GO is because the nomination is too close to existing PokéStops or Gyms. If an existing game location is removed or the criteria changes, the nomination may appear within Pokémon GO at a later time.

Please keep in mind that while this is a common reason, it is not the only one.

Niantic staff members are not allowed to mention confidentiality rules due to their duties. See above article. We call the rules that Wayspot automatically adopts for each game the “ inclusive rules”.
It appears that perhaps the Wayspot you submitted is in the same section as “Light and Number one”.

Your nomination may…

  • become a Powerspot (Dynamax / Gigantamax) depending on its proximity to other waypoints.
  • It could replace the existing waypoint if that is removed for legitimate reasons. ***
  • It could be used in other Scopely games.

***Do Not attempt to get a legitimate wayspot removed just to get yours on to the map. This is seen as Abuse and can lead to suspension / bans of all accounts (Wayfarer, Pokemon Go and any other Scopely games.

Thanks for the clarification, although the new poke stop in not that closed to the next one! As I have seen streets and malls with a lot of poke stops beside each other, one block away from the nominated location!

More poke stops more balls and pokemons, sure no one will try remove other pokestops, but tge location is very closed to a movable power stop, it might be this the issue of why the pokestop is not dhowing up :face_with_monocle:

As @CrownFeather explained, this can’t show up in Pokemon Go because it is in the same grid as “Light and Number one” as illustrated here:

There is already at least one other Wayspot in that cell, so it can’t be a Pokestop. It may be eligible to become a Power Spot, but there may be other Wayspots this map is not showing.

Here’s a clearer image of this cell, showing where your approved Wayspot is in the red circle, and Light and Number one is in the blue circle.

As you can see, they are in the same L17 S2 cell, but yours is in the northeast corner, and Light and Number one is in the southwest. While it can’t be used as a stop/gym, it could get used as a Power Spot in the future, as unused Wayspots do get used as those from time to time.

This can happen due to…

  • Sponsored Stops that are not bound by the same rules.
  • Stops can be extremely close as long as they are on either side of the cell border.
  • Some previous stops that where moved did not trigger a reset of the cell, Niantic are dealing with them as they are found.

Powerspots will not effect placement of Stops / Gyms.
