I dont understand why this is automated rejected. Its one of a kind, on city land, not a hazard, on the sidewalk, permanent, accesable for everyone..
Hey, first off all welcome to the forum. Let’s get right to the point. This waspot was rejected by the wayfarer bot, even though it is one of a kind like you say, the bot is learning from our rejections, and most of these manhole covers get rejected which is why even though they could be unique it gets rejected by the bot. I hope this is enough information. You could maybe try a appeal?
Noone know why its rejected because rejection mechanism is not known to public to prevent abuse. You can try resubmit if you really believe that your submission is valid. You should mention if there is certain history to that drawing. If AI still reject them , your option is go appeal. Just for record you have 2 appeal, each with 20 days cooldown.
Is it art that was commissioned by the city? Or is it graffiti done without permission? If it’s sanctioned, can you link to a newspaper or utility link to prove it?
Niantic has never liked stencil art because it’s easily repeatable.
Also, Pac-Man belongs to Namco - they may not allow other games to incorporate their name and images. I’m sure AI is coded to avoid copyrighted terms that could result in a “cease and desist” legal complaint.
Well commision is not “must have” requirement but it still greatly increase your odds. Commisioned mural means the mural is less likely to change in many years ahead so people wont reject it for temporary. Especially because this pac man seems too simple so people can argue that its just grafitti.
Right. Commissioned art is more permanent.
Graffiti is vandalism. The real owner could have it removed at any time. Or another vandal could come along and cover it.
