As I was progressing through the process to request a Pokestop to be made, I landed on the map to Pin my location. Once I did that, the next page I was sent to was the Pokestop Review page, and some random Pokestop,(It was some Signage, that looked like the beginning of a random trail-head, somewhere in God’s Country) instead of continuing the process to request my Pokestop. Now, all I can do is wander aimlessly around the Wayfarer Page; I have opened all of the clickable links … nothing gets me back to continuing the process to request/create the Pokestop. I know this is a very ‘vanilla’ post, I just figured y’all would provide much better insight than the 100% dead end option that is all things the Wayfarer Chat Bot.
I have included a screenshot of the page that I am sent directly to, after clicking ‘New PokeStop’ from the link@the In-Game Settings Menu, then logging in.
All nominations should be done from your game. In this case Pokemon Go. I believe it is under settings. Sorry I play Ingress so don’t know in full detail where the nomination section in Pokémon Go is.
It sounds like you were on the Niantic Wayfarer page. That is helpful to keep all your submissions organized once they have submitted through the games. You can also review other peoples nominations (as you found).
Please ask more questions as needed. I feel like I need more coffee this morning and I may not have explained things clearly.
Editing to add that I’m very surprised that in the middle of nominating in the Pokemon Go app you would be redirected to the Wayfarer page. I just opened Ingress and started going through nomination steps there. There is no place that it gave me anything close to a redirect.
I would recommend trying your nomination again. It may have just been a fluke occurrence.
When you first become eligible to submit nominations you are directed to the Wayfarer website to run through an introduction process. Once that is completed you go back in game to submit nominations.
The Wayfarer website is for reviewing nominations from others and managing your own nominations.
You likely need to log out of Pokemon Go and then log back in for the game to refresh that you have completed the introduction process. Then you should be able to submit nominations via the in game process.
You go to Uploads in Settings to make nominations in Pokemon Go. It sounds like you have done the onboarding part, so now you just need to restart your game and you should see “New nomination” available.
