I submitted three pokestops. Two got rejected and one approved. I appealed the two rejected ones and all three are approved. However none of them appeared at the park. What to do from here?
Hi there @time4tee and welcome to the forum.
The wording used during the submission process in Pokémon Go is a little bit misleading, as you’re not submitting Pokéstops, but rather wayspots for Niantic’s Lightship database. These wayspots, if accepted, get added to the central Lightship database, and from there they may sync into any of Niantic’s games, but only if they pass the proximity check that each game uses.
Usually, if it’s been longer than 48 hours since they were accepted and they haven’t appeared in Pokémon Go, this means that there’s already a Pokéstop or Gym nearby that’s in the same Level 17 S2 Cell as the newly accepted wayspot. As each Level 17 S2 Cell can only contain one Pokéstop or one Gym, this means that the newly accepted wayspot fails the proximity check and isn’t able to show up in Pokémon Go.
This article goes into a bit more detail about the proximity rules used in Pokémon Go. If you want anyone to check that this is indeed what has happened to your nominations, you’re welcome to share the names and coordinates of them and someone can give you a visual of what’s going on.
