it is removed once again.
The sign is still present. Please restore it once again. If you can, please take action against those who are maliciously removing this waypoint.

Is this portal used to make big links/fields? Because there pretty much has to be a local Ingress player from the opposing team behind these repeated removal requests.

We discussed this internally and came to the conclusion that this Wayspot does not meet our criteria. This is a street infrastructure and not a trail marker. We standby our decision to retire the Wayspot in question.

Make it make sense.
We did not have all the context at the time. After reviewing the additional information we received at a later stage, we decided that this Wayspot should be retired.

Street Signs/Architecture/Furniture like this normally makes me frown simply because they are on your terms “Mass Produced and nothing unique about them”
Where I agree this is a street/estate sign and not a Trail Marker as such it’s a fancy graphical one so a bit more difficult.
It does feel like a Malicious Opposing Faction Ingress Player (MOFI) taking out Anchors as that has always been known since I started the game and I wouldn’t be surprised if that player also supplied the evidence from the local area to Niantic.
@GeoTyros Look around the Local Area though for something Unique that you could replace this portal with and as long as it’s within the criteria it should be approved on submission to deal with those pesky Ingressers
