Problems with the creation of 30 POI

Generally, just submitting something you see can not be recommended because at worst, the object was falsely or even abusively accepted.
You should always compare examples you see with the criteria, you can use the train of thought I shared for the senior residency as an example on how to do that

I generally agree, however I wanted to try to get it approved because I saw the same format on a wall, nothing special, just the sign, and yet it’s an existing point of interest. Why can they get their points approved? I’m in a fairly remote area, so I’m trying what I consider to be Wayfarer checks and existing points of interest.

Focus on the core criteria - Exercise, Social, Exploration.

For something to be a wayspot, it should be great for at least one of these three things. Not just that you are able to exercise, able to be social, able to explore. It needs to explicitly facilitate at least one of those three things.

So the blue road sign is eligible because it is a trail marker, which explicitly facilitates exercise and exploration. The road sign you tried is not eligible because it is just a generic road sign with nothing to make it worth exploring.

There may be something about the one you saw that makes it eligible, but you cannot see what that is, just as for the blue road sign. It is possible that something got accepted that isn’t strictly eligible.

That’s precisely the problem; the sign I saw wasn’t a trail sign, but a regular street sign T-T…

At least I can see the general outline of things now, thanks again!

For example, I also tried this one; it’s a bus stop sign, so people meet and walk around it. Plus, it’s in a remote part of my city (and as you can see, it’s surprisingly stylish, not just plain), but it was also rejected.

I also tried to get a path approved, unfortunately there are no signs for it, but it is used by the neighborhood and people who walk, jog, etc. and it also passes through the forest for a certain distance, but it is still not accepted.

Bus stops are not eligible. Bus stations are, tram stops are, train stations are, but not bus stops. Some people would like them to be eligible, especially for rural locations, but this is not the case.

I see a problem, which is that everything you had auto-rejected will almost have certainly be rejected for good reason, and therefore all you will get is people confirming this. That will become negative for you.

It would be more positive to have assistance with finding eligible POI. Are you willing to post a more accurate location than just Vierzon?

However, I still have another question for you. I’m curious about the different statuses for POI requests.

When you create a request, it goes into “pending” status. After that, my point is often automatically rejected (so I assumed it was automatic). If the point passes this stage, it goes into “under review,” where it can still be rejected or accepted. However, what are the different statuses and what do they do? For example, after the waiting period, is it truly automatic, or does the staff review it? Is the “under review” status not handled by the staff or players with verifications?

Too bad, as you said, it would be quite interesting for rural areas. Do you think I could get it approved if I emphasize the aesthetic aspect? There are quite a few spots with drawings or graffiti, by the way.

I know some people use the word graffiti for actual artworks but best, please look at these clarifications: Unique Art - #2

Well, in itself, I’d like to improve my gameplay and that of other players in general, so why not?

By the way, all the points I suggested are between “la petite rue de fay” and “centre hospitalier de vierzon.”

Yes, it’s definitely more about the artistic side than just a slightly decorated sign.

ok that’s where two worlds clash

Wayfarer in its current state is not a Pokéstop machine but a database building programme.

That means for you, that you can not just build up Pokéstops, but the two goals - database according to criteria and improving gameplay - have to coincide
