What is the consensus on benches as wayspots?
My neighborhood has 3 of these little bench areas along the road and I want to know how you would all feel if they were to be pokestops. I tried nominating one but it wasn’t accepted. They aren’t memorial benches, but they are unique for my community as there are only 3 for the entire road. Could they be accepted or are they too generic?

If the bench has a good scene(Like next to a lake, or you can sit in there and have a great view), you can nominate it. It will be a uphill battle.
Is it possible to show nomination detail(photo,supporting info) to see how we can improve the submission?

Benches along a street do not sound promising, you would have more of a chance if it was a group of 3 benches together which you could attempt to sell on the “social” criteria.

These are the benches, (I am new as you know so I am not sure if it is visible) this is one of the 3 bench areas in my neighborhood. There is sadly no view from them (other than the road) and the only reason I am submitting this instead of something else is because, there isn’t much else in my neighborhood, and I am afraid that some of the other things I could submit may be flagged as duplicate, I alway run out of pokeballs as there is so few pokestops. If these aren’t worth the hassle, I will try nominating more things. (That could be pokestops) Thank you for the help.

I just added an image. It is a small group of 3 benches.
This looks like a great place to be social, submitted as the group of 3, since they are facing each other and seem designed to be a place to sit and talk
I would try to get a picture without the cars in the background (maybe just a different angle) as they detract from the picture. The only rule on cars is that the license plate can’t be visible, but some reviewers are too strict on this

You might need to sell it with a good name such as the Such-and-such Meeting Point. It does seem like it is specifically designed for socialising.
Do be careful about license plates in your photos, that would be an automatic rejection. If you can’t avoid the plates could could try applying something like a coarse pixellation.

Thanks for the tip! Would this also work if I accidentally got a person or body part in the larger image by accident?
It can work for faces, magic eraser can also help but use that with caution.
