i have read the topic to trial markers but iam still not sure. the topic just says the markes have to be destinct. on holyday i was hiking at the turnbull canyon and found a lot of unnomitated markers, and i think according to the rules, they are all acceptable, arent they? i post 4 of them es example.
ii is easy to see, that they are not the same and on the top they have the coordinates on them to veryfie the location. the trial also has a website: Trails - Department of Parks and Recreation
next are trial markes that are not out of metal, but stuck on as a sticker. here are 2 examples
they have the name and they are permanent, but they are just stickers. but there is no rule that they have to be out of metal, just that they have to be permanent. and even stickers can last for years. the probem: on the website of the “sauerländischer gebirgsverein” not every local route is posted, the only proof i have is the website, that shows how the markers looks, and the wikipedia entry.

for one of them i found a website from the netherlands showing the route: O Rund um Langendreer - Bochum - Wandelroute | Route.nl
does this make the routle ineligle? i dont find a rule that the routs have to be posted online but i think this would make them harder to get accepted correct?
so in my opionion all of them should be eligle, arent they?
Im confused on why you are asking about trail markers on opposite sides of the world.
i was on the pokemon worlds in anaheim in 2025 and was hiking over the turnbull canyon, and i like to create wayspots in different regions. my home region is germany

Turnbull Canyon markers are indeed eligible, i have submitted similar trail markers in hiking routes in the area, they are typically placed at decision points or at places that ensure you’re still following the route or hit a specific distance. If you’re no longer in the area though you’re probably out of range to submit them now.
Im not experienced with sticker style markers nor German ones maybe @kawin240 oe someone else can help
For stickers it’s best to add as much of documentation as you can find. If you have undocumented routes then you have to make it believable that these have been officially put up.
If you have no source it’s extremely difficult or even impossible as stickers are a common format that is usually trusted the least
I submitted them in August but put them on hold. So even if they are just 0,25 miles away from each other they should be allowed correct? You see the pictures of for example the 7.5 and 7.25 one
Do i risk a ban if the reviewrs dont belive me with the Stickers? I just have the Stickers but i dont have any way to proof anything i think since they are not Dokumented. Many of the route of the sgv are not online. Its very common in my Region that we have the Stickers without having the route online
Got it, correct, those distances are typically important distances for people keeping track of them while hiking.

Die Gebirgsverein ist abgegeben. Nach “Treu und Glauben” darf man von einem offoziellen Wanderweg ausgehen. Der Verein würde sich bestimmt wehren, wenn jemand einfach solche Kleber fälschen würde.
Du musst aber trotzdem mit der einen oder anderen Ablehnung rechnen. Meiner hier z.B. wurde von der Community wohl wegen des Fussballklebers unterm Wanderkleber abgelehnt. Normal gehn die durch. Wir haben hier schon einige Wanderwege spielbar gemacht.
Von denen in meiner Gegend fehlen dort leider viele. Aber eine gute Seite ist es trotzdem.

So, hierzu. Es gibt ne Schweizer Karte wo die Wege drauf sind. Hab ich bislang nicht benötigt um zu beweisen, dass meine Orte stimmen.
Thank you, all of them got accepted exept 1. 6 markers in the US and 2 in germany. The one who was not accepted is still in hold because i made a mistake with the location. My question is: at the noment we as nominator can not edit the location. is it planned that we can also edit it in the future, if not, is it allowed that i write in the Support text that i made an error, post the correct coordinates and ask the reviewer to put it on the correct Spot, or would that he abuse?
