Receive "Concerning Your Wayfarer Submission" email

this location, I arrived at the scene to shoot and submit it in person.

GPS alignment often occurs at this location, and it has been corrected when trying to submit, but it was also shifted when I looked at it just now.

You need to put the pin in the correct position before you submit it. The onus is on submitter to ensure its on correct position. When you submit, you can adjust its location before you submit.

Hopefully you can get help from staff on this.

What I find super useful is one of the wayfarer tools that’s been developed for the web submission process can take the location data from our main picture and use it for the pin placement, which can help to ensure accurate positions when you cant trust GPS (also useful in large buildings and under trees!)

If you can’t trust your GPS, you can’t trust the location data in the pictures taken from your phone, because that uses your GPS.

If you are submitting later and you know the GPS was accurate when you took the photo, the location data from the photo can help you position the wayspot, but that has nothing to do with not trusting the GPS.
