I have noticed a few of my submissions coming back in the wrong places, definately not where I have submitted them. Before I create abuse tickets I thought I better check there are no known bugs that could do this.
Also, I have noticed one of my in-voting submissions has the pin in the middle of the road when I know 100% that I did not put the pin there. So that must mean the submissions map pin gets moved if a reviewer suggests a new location? Rather than show the original location?
I always thought it would show the original submitted location, but I know 110% in this case the pin isn’t where I put it.
There might have been a slight misalignment between the satellite view (which is sometimes tilted) and the map view. So I am guessing nothing is wrong here, but you could share the exact coordinates in the submission email to be sure.
Okay it does not appear to be a tilt in the satellite view, but when zooming out the marker looks to be on the street but as you can see in the satellite view it actually is on the sidewalk.
